up for voting on design by humans!.
edit: ~donteatdirt's i love haiti id extravaganza has begun! fun, clever, classy? all of the above. and there's even a sub to be won.
read the news article!my lomo came! it's so small and classy.

i will be putting it to good use soon enough.
it's scary how excited i am to use film.
easter is coming!

i love easter. probably my favourite holiday.
but i have to say...if you work in retail long enough, you start to like holiday-less months. ha.
the candy section of our store is a WRECK. i was over there for 30 minutes trying to tidy it up, and i got about half an aisle done. no lie.
it's tiring, but i honestly think it's pretty funny. we all sit around in the break room talking about how we like holidays, except when we're at work, and wondering why exactly we go to the trouble of labeling the merchandise if it gets moved within five minutes.

also fun is reading! or faux-reading, a form of which i have developed a keen interest in: audiobooks on the ipod.
i have several classics on my little video now, and as a result, i have fallen in love with the writing of g.k. chesterton.
the man who was thursday? it rocks.
what's going on with all of you, eh?

music picks of the week:
[need to be updated...]
'Big Yellow Taxi' by Counting Crows
Watch on YouTubeI have been in love with this song, oh...forever. I love the wittiness of the lyrics, and the CC cover is gold.'New Soul' by Yael Naim
Watch on YouTubeSounds familiar? That's because it is! It's on the MacBook Air commercial: reason enough to love it. ;] This song has such a fun, whimsical style--happy piano and cheerful horns. It's one of those have-to-smile-when-you-hear-it songs. And the music video is brilliant!'

ensons à l'avenir' by Cali
Listen on ImeemNot a clue in the world what he's saying. But I don't really want to know, because the sound of the elegant, foreign words is what really makes this beautiful to me. Piano+guitar+French=glorious.
